Nucleo, the next generation of single-use bioreactors, represents the state of the art response to the evolution of biotech processes. It is perfectly suited to laboratory environments, current methods of process development and flexible manufacturing.
The Nucleo bioreactor, which offers the same functionality as a classical stirred tank bioreactor, is based on a single use bag integrating an internal paddle mixing system. The bag, paddle and fittings are single-use, all contact surfaces are discarded after use. The paddle is enclosed in a ULDPE sleeve, with the same contact material as the bag itself, and is coupled with the mixing head.
